We pencil in the period requested on receipt of your eMail or call. This gives you priority should someone else ask for those dates before we have had your deposit, and we will always contact you in that event to determine the position. Bookings are confirmed when we receive your 25% (or other agreed) deposit and the balance remaining should be paid by six weeks before the agreed date of arrival.
In the event of a cancellation we may retain your deposit unless we are able to secure a replacement reservation. If cancelled less than six weeks before the date of arrival we may require payment of the full amount outstanding if we are unable to obtain a replacement booking. If we are able to secure a replacement booking for the dates cancelled we would refund your deposit and any balance paid up to the amount received for the replacement booking, which might be less than the original price because of last minute discounts etc. We recommend visitors should obtain appropriate insurance to cover eventualities.
Currently we are waiving the above conditions in the event of a booking being cancelled, either due to a change of Covid-19 regulations or a potential visitor contracting the virus. Please contact for advice.
